Generally all viruses are intracellular parasites,it replicate only after infecting a host cell, corona virus have bigger genome when compared to other viruses such as HIV viruses,influenza viruses,Ebola virus,etc.The genome consist of four structural proteins and eight gens for small accessary proteins and a replicase gene,when corona virus enter in to the cell it's RNA look like messenger RNA(mRNA),which tells the cell what protein to make,as soon as RNA get into the cell protein making machinery begins to starts reading the viral genes,and making the proteins what they describes,after the cell made both proteins RNAs some of the RNA molecules get wrapped up with copies of the neucleocapsid proteins and then they are provided with envelop made of lipids,the assembling process takes place in the cellular work shop called Golgi apparatus,a cell may makes 100-1000 virions in this way,these virions enter other cells or body.

Precautions

If you touch contaminated surface wash your hands,don't touch your mouth eye or nose before washing hands,personal contacts is the most common reason for spreading the disease.

Vaccines 

Vaccine development is underway,it will take at least 12-18 month to get any approved and effective vaccine for COVID-19,it is heard that now a days doctors are using hydroxychloroquinin(the old drug that used for malaria)along with Azithromycin.
